We spend a lot of time thinking about what others think about us. But, what about God? Is He disappointed in me? Does He really love me?
Do you know God is always thinking about you? Actually, He has a lot of thoughts about us! One way God shows us He loves us is by thinking about us. His thoughts are more than the sands on the seashore (Psalm 139:18). I want to share with you what I heard the Lord Whisper for you today:
“My child, I love you so. I crafted every nook and cranny of you. I breathed in you while I knitted you in your mother’s womb. Know this My child, the Holy Spirit, My Son and I were there when you were created. Be encouraged, you always have the Trinity surrounding you, loving you. We laugh when you laugh, and cry when you cry. We are always here for you, My child. Delight in My love for you today. When you are ready, share My great love with others who need to know how much I love them too”.
One of the most important questions we can ask ourselves, is what God thinks of us. I encourage you to ask the Lord now what His specific thoughts of you are. He really wants to tell you! I suggest asking Him how much He loves you, I guarantee you will be surprised at His answer. The Lord’s lovely thoughts of you are meant to show you how much He knows you (Psalm 139) and loves you.
Did you know that God loves the way you look? Did you know He loves the way you breathe? You were created in His image, actually, God created us in the image of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. In Genesis 1:26a NIV we learn that God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness.” Stop to think about that. He loved you so much that He paused to create you uniquely and He created you in His image! God knew you before you were formed in your mother’s womb (Jeremiah 1:5). He even has written you in the palm of His hand, wow!!! (Isaiah 49:16) Imagine that, being written in the palm of His hand. You are always so close to the Father’s heart!
God created you to have the Holy Spirit living on the inside of you here on earth to guide and teach you. Jesus said before He ascended into heaven that the Holy Spirit living in you will allow you to do greater works than He did when He lived on earth, (John 14:12). Isn’t that amazing to think about? God loved you enough to give you authority to do even greater works than Jesus did; JESUS healed the blind, cast out demons and raised people from the dead!
If you are ever discouraged, lonely, or feel unloved, remember God is thinking about you. He knows you, He created you and He wants the best for you on earth.
God wants you to be filled with Joy and He wants to share His goodness, and His love for you and others today.
When you think about it, the heart of the Father is written in every cell of your body.
“Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand” Psalm 139:16-18aNIV
I pray you are blessed by what I heard the Lord whisper for you today. Ask yourself, what would you change knowing how much God loves you?
